Vertebrate Poster Project

Dear Families,

We have been working so hard in Science class learning about vertebrates and their groups.  Each student has chosen a vertebrate to research for the next couple of weeks.

When students are done conducting research on their vertebrates, they will put their research onto a Poster Board.  If your student would like a particular poster-board (special color, size, etc.) they are welcome to purchase their own.  Students are also welcome to use their own stickers, glitter glue, stamps, etc. from home.  However, we have supplies available at school to use as well.

Projects will be completed by Thursday, September 25.  On that day, we’ll be turning our classroom into a vertebrate museum.  Families are invited to stop by our classroom from 12:10 to 1:00 on Thursday, September 25 to see our projects.

We’ll conduct most of our research and create our posters at school.  However, if a student feels inclined, they are also welcome to work on their project at home.

Estimadas familias,

Hemos estado trabajando muy duro en el aprendizaje de las ciencias en clase sobre los vertebrados y sus grupos. Cada estudiante ha elegido un vertebrado a la investigación para el próximo par de semanas.

Cuando los estudiantes se llevan a cabo la realización de la investigación en sus vertebrados, pondrán su investigación sobre una cartulina. Si el estudiante quiere una cartulina especial (color especial, tamaño, etc) son bienvenidos a comprar su propia cuenta. Los estudiantes también podrán utilizar sus propias pegatinas, pegamento del brillo, sellos, etc de casa. Sin embargo, tenemos suministros disponibles en la escuela para usar también.

Los proyectos se completaron antes del jueves 25 de septiembre. En ese día, estaremos convirtiendo nuestra clase en un museo de vertebrados. Las familias están invitadas a pasar por nuestras aulas 12:10-1:00 el jueves 25 de septiembre a ver nuestros proyectos.

Nosotros llevaremos a cabo la mayor parte de nuestra investigación y creamos nuestros carteles en la escuela. Sin embargo, si un estudiante se siente inclinado, también están invitados a trabajar en su proyecto en el hogar.
