Centennial Village Field Trip

I just got some information regarding our field trip next Tuesday, September 23.  A few students are still missing permission slips.  Please, check with your fourth grader to see if they have turned theirs in.

Here's what you need to know about the field trip:

• We will leave the school at about 9:00 AM to go to Centennial Village.
• We will eat lunch while we are there.  Please, bring a sack lunch from home.  Or, if students let me know in advance, we can order a sack lunch for them from school.
• Wear good walking shoes!  Hoodies or light jackets are also a good idea.  NO SANDALS ALLOWED.
• Behavior is taken VERY seriously.  Students who misbehave will have to ride back to school with a principal, and they will not be invited on any more field trips.  Misbehaving includes:  running, playing around, climbing on trees or equipment, picking flowers, disrupting learning, harassing wildlife/animals, drinking or eating in the buildings, touching artifacts where we are told not to, and not following directions.
• We will return to school between 2:00 and 2:30.

Remember, fourth graders, if you do a good job on this field trip, we will take you on more field trips!  However, if we behave poorly, we may choose to cancel all other field trips for the rest of the year.  Let's show Centennial Village how great Dos Rios students are!
